Almond Oil Cold Pressing Machine

  Almond oil is the oil pressed from the kernel of sweet almond oil. It is a light cooking oil,The oil yield is generally about 50% ，yellow or light yellow liquid. It has a special aroma and taste and is often used in cooking, seasoning and food preparation. Almond oil has a refreshing texture and is easily absorbed by the skin, so it is also widely used in skin care products, cosmetics and massage oils.

  It is worth noting that there are two types of almond oil: bitter almond oil and sweet almond oil. Bitter almond oil contains a toxin called hydrocyanate glycoside and is not suitable for consumption. In contrast, sweet almond oil is a safe cooking oil.

Difference between cold pressing and hot pressing of sweet almonds

1.Pressing temperature:

- Cold press: Cold press means that oil is pressed at low temperatures, usually below 36°C (97°F), and some cold press equipment can even be reduced to room temperature. During this process, the cold temperature helps to retain the nutrients, flavor and natural properties of the almond oil.

Hot pressing: Hot pressing is the process of pressing oil at relatively high temperatures, usually between 65°C (149°F) and 120°C (248°F). Higher temperatures help speed up the release and pressing of oils, but may also lead to the loss of some nutrients.

2.Oil characteristics:

- Cold pressed: Cold pressed almond oil usually has a light yellow or light yellow color, with a light taste and a rich aroma. It is generally more natural, retaining the flavor and nutrients of the original almond, such as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

• Hot pressed: Hot pressed almond oil tends to have a darker yellow color and a rich taste. Because high temperatures can affect the stability of certain nutrients, hot-pressed almond oil may retain relatively few heat-sensitive nutrients.
