Product Description:

Working Principle:

The spiral conveyor operates by utilizing rotating spiral blades to move materials along its path. The material remains stationary while the spiral conveyor blades apply force through the weight of the material and the friction resistance between the blades and the conveyor casing. The spiral blade is welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor and can come in different types, such as solid surface, belt surface, and blade surface, depending on the nature of the materials being conveyed. To counteract the material movement, the screw shaft of the conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end in the direction of material motion. In longer conveyor systems, intermediate hanging bearings may need to be added for proper support.
