When customers inquire about coconut oil extraction, the first key point we confirm is whether the raw material is fresh coconuts or dried copra, as these two materials require completely different production equipment. Today we would like to introduce the oil extraction process using copra.
After sun-drying or mechanical processing, the copra is fed into our company’s specially designed Copra Broken crusher. It is made of food‑grade 304 stainless steel to avoid any adverse impact on product quality. The Copra Broken crusher uniformly breaks the copra into pieces of around 30mm*30mm, which helps improve the efficiency of the subsequent pressing process.

For oil extraction, cold pressing is the most recommended method for coconuts. To precisely control temperature and protect product quality, we use the temperature‑controlled combined oil press. It is equipped with an electric control cabinet to regulate the temperature of the pressing chamber.
The screw oil press can fully extract oil from copra, with a residual oil rate controlled at 5–7%. This high‑efficiency pressing method simplifies production steps, reduces costs, and maximizes the retention of nutrients and natural flavor in coconut oil.
