12 TPD of palm kernel production line in Cameroon
Palm kernel oil is taken from the kernel of palm fruit and is very popular in countries that produce palm fruit, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Cameroon and Côte d'Ivoire. Palm kernel oil contains a large amount of low-level fatty acids, so its properties are very different from palm oil, but very similar to coconut oil. Fresh palm kernel oil is milky white or slightly yellow, with a solid consistency and a pleasant walnut aroma. Palm kernel oil is more easily oxidized and decomposed during storage, and its taste becomes spicy.

In December 2017, the customer contacted us in our Alibaba to inquire about the edible oil refining equipment. During the repeated explanation and communication of the equipment process configuration, we learned that the customer was doing his own business in China and helping people in his country to buy imports. In the meantime, he learned about the edible oil processing industry and felt that it had great potential and market, which could help him get more benefits. Therefore, he considered trying it himself.
Originally, the customer intended to purchase a set of crude oil refining equipment and planned to bottle and sell the refined edible oil. However, after in-depth discussion and analysis of the customer's actual needs, we found that according to the customer's expected medium-sized refining capacity, it may not be economical to purchase crude oil refining equipment alone. Because this not only involves the investment cost of the refining equipment, but also includes the purchase cost of raw materials in subsequent operations, the energy consumption cost during the refining process, and the equipment maintenance cost.
Based on a deep understanding of customer needs and rich industry experience, we proposed a more comprehensive and economical solution to the customer: directly purchase a complete pressing production line and configure a complete set of workshop engineering. This production line will cover the entire production process from the purchase, pretreatment, pressing, refining to the final packaging of palm kernel raw materials. Through such a configuration, customers can control the cost of raw materials from the source, while reducing intermediate links and improving production efficiency, thereby obtaining higher returns with a smaller cost investment.
We also suggested to the customer that due to the high hardness of palm kernels, in conventional screw oil press production lines, we need to pay attention to the configuration of equipment to preheat and crush the palm kernels to adjust the pressing state before entering the pressing equipment. And the production capacity of the pressing equipment needs to be twice the required capacity, so that the required capacity can be achieved in the production of the entire production line.
The customer expressed great interest in our suggestion, and after careful consideration, finally decided to adopt our plan. They confirmed the configuration of the entire production line and expressed their willingness to come to our workshop for a field visit and further negotiation. We warmly received the customer and led them to visit our production workshop and exhibition area, explaining the details and advantages of the equipment plan in detail.
After in-depth understanding and confirmation of the feasibility and superiority of the equipment plan, after friendly consultation and discussion, the customer and us finally reached a cooperation agreement in January 2024. This marks that our team has provided an efficient and economical solution for the customer, and also brought new business opportunities and partners to our company.
