High-Efficiency Oil Presses for Palm Fruit & Palm Kernels
Palm oil is derived from the fruit of Elaeis guineensis, with a history of human use stretching back over 5,000 years. Today, Malaysia and Indonesia are the world's top producers of palm oil. Palm oil is generally classified into two main types: palm oil and palm kernel oil.
Differences between palm oil and palm kernel oil
Palm oil is split into palm pulp oil (from the fleshy mesocarp) and palm kernel oil (from the inner kernel). They differ in physical and chemical properties, as well as application scenarios.

Different fatty acid composition:
Palm oil is rich in C-16 and C-18 fatty acids.
Palm kernel oil is high in C-12 fatty acids, with properties similar to coconut oil—light color, high C-12/C-14 content, and excellent oxidation stability.
Different colors
Palm oil is often called “red palm oil,” ranging from brownish-red to reddish-yellow due to the orange hue of palm pulp. Fresh palm kernel oil is milky white or pale yellow, with properties very different from palm oil but close to coconut oil.
