Refining Process of Sunflower Oil
Extend the storage time of sunflower oil by removing harmful substances from the oil by refining.
1.Dephosphorization
First,a certain amount of hot water or dilute alkali solution is added to the filtered sunflower seed oil,and the pnospholipids expand with the increase of water absorption during the hydration process,and coagulate each other into a colloid.
2.Deacidification
Alkaline solution is used to combine with free fatty acid to form soapstock. Since soapstock is insoluble in neutral oil, soapstock can be separated from sunflower oil after resting to reduce the acidity of sunflower oil.
3.Decolorization
Use acidic activated clay, bleaching earth and activated carbon and other substances with selective adsorption to add to the oil to adsorb pigments and other impurities in the oil.
4.Deodorization
Water vapor is added to the crude oil, using the principle that the oil does not volatilize and the odor is volatile, so that the odor can be distilled from the crude oil. The working temperature of deodorization is required to be higher, and a higher vacuum degree is also required to increase the volatility of odorous substances.
5.Dewaxing
Sunflower seed oil contains a certain amount of wax. When the temperature is high,the wax molecules dissolve in the oil in a dispersed state. Therefore, the method of cooling crystallization is to first send the deodorized oil to the condensation crystallization tank for cooling and crystallization, and then put the cooled oil into the filtration equipment for separation, so as to achieve the purpose of dewaxing.
