Why Crude Oil Needs Refining
Cooking oil produced by pressing will have some impurities in the crude oil The content of impurities varies with the variety of raw materials, origin, oil production methods and storage conditions. According to the size of the particles dispersed in the oil, impurities can be roughly divided into four categories:

(1)mechanical impurities;
(2)peptizing impurities;
(3)fat-soluble impurities;
(4)moisture.
The existence of the above-mentioned impurities will seriously affect the safe storage and use value of oils and fats. For example, the presence of mechanical impurities, moisture, proteins, sugars and free fatty acids will promote the hydrolysis and rancidity of oils. Phospholipids in oil make the oil dull and cloudy. A large amount of foam is produced during cooking, and it turns into a black precipitate at a high temperature of cooking, which affects the color and taste of the stir-fry (bitterness). Therefore, when choosing refining equipment,we need to confirm what impurities in cooking oil are removed, and then choose what type of refining equipment according to the demand.
