Raw material selection and pretreatment
Shelling
Use professional shelling equipment to accurately remove the hard shell of the coconut king while minimizing damage to the coconut meat. The shelled coconut meat is intact and exudes a rich coconut fragrance.
Coconut meat crushing
The coconut meat is crushed into uniform-sized blocks through a special crusher so that the subsequent pressing process can be carried out more efficiently. The size of the crushed coconut meat blocks is about 30mm×30mm, which is fully prepared for oil production.
Drying
Coconut meat contains a certain amount of moisture and needs to be dried. In modern drying equipment, the moisture content of coconut meat is reduced to a suitable range by precisely controlling temperature and airflow, which not only helps to increase the oil yield, but also effectively extends the shelf life of coconut oil while retaining the natural flavor of coconut oil to the greatest extent.
Oil Pressing
Oil extraction
Our factory's advanced pressing equipment can fully squeeze out the oil in the coconut meat during the pressing process, so that the residual oil rate is controlled at 5-7%, which is far better than the industry average. This efficient pressing method not only reduces costs, but also retains the nutrients and natural flavor of coconut oil to the greatest extent.
Filtration and purification
The squeezed crude oil contains impurities. It first passes through the filtration equipment to remove larger particle impurities, so that the crude oil is initially clarified to ensure that the oil does not contain impurities visible to the naked eye. The filtered oil is pumped into the crude oil tank for storage and waiting for refining.
Coconut Oil Refining
Degumming treatment
In the refining tank, by adding specific degumming agents, colloidal impurities in the crude oil are removed to improve the stability and appearance of the oil.
Neutralization step
Add an appropriate amount of alkali solution to neutralize the free fatty acids in the crude oil, reduce the acid value, improve the quality of the oil, and reduce odor.
Decolorization operation
Use adsorbents such as activated white clay to decolorize the neutralized oil to remove pigments and other impurities in the oil, making the oil color purer.
Deodorization process
Under high vacuum and appropriate temperature, steam distillation is used to remove the bad smell in the oil, retain the natural aroma of coconut oil, and enhance the flavor.
