1.Cleaning of oil material:
The impurities contained in oil are divided into three categories: organic impurities, inorganic impurities and oily impurities. Most of the impurities themselves do not contain oil. During the oil making process, not only does not produce oil, but a certain amount of oil is absorbed in the cake. The impurities contained in the cake, such as soil, plant stems and leaves, and leather shells, will deepen the color of the oil and produce odors and other adverse effects phenomenon; hard objects such as stones and iron will wear the equipment. Therefore, effective cleaning and removal of impurities before oil production can reduce oil loss, increase oil yield, and prolong equipment life. Cleaning mainly includes winnowing, screening, magnetic separation and side-by-side mud cleaning.
(1)Wind separation
According to the difference in specific gravity and aerodynamic properties between oil seeds and impurities, the impurities in the oil seeds are separated by wind force. Wind separation can be used to remove light impurities and dust in the oil seeds, and can also be used to remove heavy impurities such as metals and stones, and can also be used for the separation of kernels and shells after shelling the oil seeds.
Oil plants, namely sunflower seeds, are first air-selected to separate light impurities (such as dust, plant stems and leaves, etc.). Reasonable selection of the screen surface can separate large and small impurities from the oil seeds, and the impurities that are similar in shape to the oil seeds enter the magnetic separation equipment with the oil seeds. After magnetic separation, the metal impurities can be removed, and finally only the soil impurities is left. After passing through the equipment for removing side-by-side mud, these impurities are ground and then taken away by the wind, and the cleaned oil seeds can be sent to the rolling equipment for rolling.
(2)Screening
Use the difference in particle size between the oil seeds and impurities, with the help of the relative movement between the miscellaneous oil seeds and the sieve surface, and remove the impurities larger or smaller than the oil seeds material through the sieve holes.
Through the relative movement of the sieve and different selections of the sieve surface, large and small impurities in the oil seeds can be removed. Screening is a traditional cleaning process. This method is simple and easy to achieve good separation effect.
(3)Magnetic separation
Magnetic separation is a method of using magnets to remove metal impurities in oil. Although the content of metal impurities in oil seeds is not high, they are very harmful and can easily cause damage to equipment, especially some high-speed operating equipment, and may even cause serious equipment accidents and safety accidents, so they must be removed.
(4)Cleaning of side-by-side mud
The shape and size of side-by-side mud are similar or equal to that of oil seed, and the specific gravity is not significantly different from that of oil seed, which is called "side-by-side mud". The content of side-by-side mud in sunflower seeds, soybeans, and sesame is relatively high.
The cleaning of the side-by-side mud is to use the different mechanical properties of the mud and oil seeds. First, grind or hit the oil seeds containing the side-by-side mud to crush the side-by-side mud, that is, grind the mud, and then screen or winnow the dust to remove it.
Billet Rolling
Preparation of oily raw body: The purpose of flaking is to destroy the cell tissue of oily material, increase the surface area of oily material, shorten the distance of oil outflow, which is beneficial to the extraction of oily oil and also helps to improve the effect of steaming and frying.
During billet rolling, external mechanical force can be used to destroy the cell tissue of the oil plant and the cell wall of some cells. Rolling makes the oil material change from granular to flake, reduces its thickness, increases the surface area, increases the contact surface between the billet and the solvent when the oil is extracted by solvent leaching, and shortens the diffusion distance of the oil, which is beneficial to increase the speed of leaching and depth.
Steam and Fry
Steaming and frying is one of the effective methods to increase the oil yield of sunflower seed, and it is also an important process in oil production. Raw sunflower seeds are heat-treated and sent to oil pressing equipment for pressing, which is called hot pressing, which can improve the oil yield. The quality of steaming and frying can have a certain impact on the oil yield of sunflower seed and other oils to a large extent.
